CLTO Hockey

A rebuild of the digital identity of the Cercle Laïque des Tourelles d'Orléans, a field and indoor hockey club since 1973 — then a bespoke toolkit grafted onto the site to run the club day to day.

Wireframes (Figma, Canva), site development (WordPress, Brizy, OVH hosting), Google Maps and Google Calendar integrations, an online licence form, a sponsoring & patronage page, and ongoing management of the club's social media.

Under the hood

What I built in

Beyond the shop window, four blocks that take manual work off the volunteers and make the club easier to join and to support.

Membership

Online licence application

A web form that gathers, in a single pass, every piece of a licence application — identity details, legal guardians' contacts, authorisations, licence type — and hands them back already formatted for entry into the federation's system. Volunteers no longer re-type anything; a paper or PDF file stays available for those who prefer it.

Sponsoring & patronage

A dedicated page that explains patronage (definition, 60% tax deduction, legal framework) and lays out the three forms of giving — money, skills, equipment — alongside the sponsoring offer. Every call-to-action button opens a pre-filled email specific to that offer: contact starts in one click, without the donor having to phrase the request.

Wayfinding

Location — Google Maps

The address of the Belneuf ground is shown on an interactive Google Maps embed on the schedule page, with direct access to directions. A new member finds the clubhouse without leaving the site.

Synced calendar — Google Calendar

The site's public calendar is wired to the club's Google calendar: training, home games, camps and meetings appear automatically as soon as they're added on the club side, with no action on the site. What visitors see is always current.
